The Next Generation Takes the Stage: A Youth Takeover
In a special Town of Culture collaboration with Dorset Music Service, we are handing over the microphone of the Willow Walk Stage for a spectacular youth-led takeover.
Join us to celebrate the next generation of talent, featuring the acclaimed Folk Active Youth Ensemble and the foot-stomping sounds of Swing Squad, alongside a host of special guests and rising stars. From traditional roots to punk, electronic and orchestral – come hear the sound of Wimborne and Dorset’s future talent – bold, unapologetic and immensely talented.

Wimborne’s Got Talent 2026!
Wimborne has long been called the Centre of the Universe, and today, we’re proving why at our very own Wimborne’s Got Talent! As part of our Town of Culture celebrations, we’ve issued a call-out to the kitchens, a rallying cry to the garages, and a holler to the hairbrush singers to bring our town’s hidden skill into the light.
Expect an eclectic, high-energy mix of performance at the Willow Walk Stage. From powerhouse vocalists and instrumental wizards to acts that defy description, we’re ready to knock your socks off with the sheer scale of local talent. Performing in front of an esteemed panel of judges, only one question remains: who will be crowned the winner?
