Exhibition of Anodised Aluminium Wall hanging at Wimborne Community Centre.

Created by Caroline Parrott and visitors to the DEED Global Fair at Walford Mill Crafts in June 2026.

Caroline is one of the onsite makers working in her gatehouse studio at Walford Mill. She works specifically with anodised aluminium which she prints and dyes to vibrant effect.

As part of this years Global Fair hosted by DEED at Walford Mill Crafts, Caroline ran a drop-in workshop funded by Wimborne Town of Culture as a Culture Catalyst Project. Participants in the workshop created printing blocks inspired by images from around the globe, they then used these blocks to print on small pieces of aluminium which were then subsequently dyed and sealed. Once the colour process was complete the individual pieces were put together to create this wall hanging, now being exhibited at Wimborne Community Centre.
